    EASTBOUND:

    Day 1 - Vancouver Arrival
    Arrive in Vancouver and spend time exploring this scenic city on your own. Overnight in Vancouver.

    Day 2- Vancouver Sightseeing
    Enjoy a six-hour sightseeing tour of Vancouver's spectacular North Shore. Next, visit Grouse Mountain (gondola admission included), the Peak of Vancouver, and take in breathtaking views of the city, ocean, and surrounding mountains. Overnight in Vancouver.

    Day 3 - Vancouver to Kamloops
    Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Kamloops. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Overnight in Kamloops.B,L

    Day 4 - Kamloops to Banff
    Your journey continues eastwards to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Banff.B,L

    Day 5 - Lake Louise with Glacier Helicopter
    A full-day tour takes you through the magnificent Canadian Rockies. The highlight of your day is a 25-minute helicopter flight above six glaciers. You will also view a 270-metre (900-foot) waterfall, see some spectacular aqua-green high alpine lakes and cross over a 2,700-metre (9,000-foot) mountain pass. Enjoy a visit to a local ranch, where you will have lunch at your leisure. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.L

    Day 6 - Lake Louise to Calgary with Summit Helicopter
    Tour through breathtaking mountain scenery today. Begin the morning with a sightseeing tour of Banff. Among the points of interest are Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. A trip on the Banff Gondola is included. Continue on to Kananaskis for a 12-minute Summit Helicopter Tour over the remarkable landscape of the Rockies, before your transfer to Calgary. Overnight in Calgary.

    Day 7 - Calgary

    On many vacations, a meal plan is offered that includes breakfast & dinner daily. You will dine each evening either from your hotel restaurant's a la carte menu or from a specially designed Rocky Mountaineer Vacations menu. Guests purchasing a meal plan will also attend the Great Canadian Lumberjack Show during their overnight stay in Kamloops on applicable routes.
