VANCOUVER, BC: Tourism Vancouver and The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver are proud to announce that Vancouver will be featured in the June 8th episode of the ABC primetime hit The Bachelorette

Did you catch this week’s “Bachelorette”? The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver starred as Vancouver’s own Jillian Harris brought her suitors to her hometown city to enjoy some more fun-loving action.

The guys stayed at the centrally located castle in the heart of the city and enjoyed the impressive 1009 suite. The pre-rose ceremony reception was hosted in the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s Morningside Suite, followed by the final rose ceremony for the episode which was held in the hotel’s historic Boardroom.

Jillian’s authentic excitement for her city shines through as she shows the guys the best that Vancouver has to offer. Dates included a romantic dinner at Grouse Mountain, kayaking to Granville Island, a picnic in Stanley Park, and a Vancouver harbour cruise. Tune in next week to enjoy more highlights of the Pacific Northwest as everyone travels to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler aboard the Whistler Mountaineer.

To celebrate Vancouver’s starring role in The Bachelorette, Fairmont and Tourism Vancouver are giving away a romantic getaway to Vancouver. The Art of Romance Vancouver Getaway package includes two night’s stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, sparkling wine and strawberries, deluxe breakfast, valet parking and late check out.
